- An actual
movie
featuring squash. Called, "Squash", it presents the physical and
psychological battle between a sadistic boss and a meek employee. It's
harsh, it's excellent, it's 27 riveting minutes. Check it out if you've
got a high-speed internet connection. (Don't bother with the
low-resolution version unless you speak French.) The movie is called
"Squash" and is directed by Lionel Bailliu, and stars Eric Savin & Malcolm
Conrath.
- U.S. Open: Sept 13-16, 2003
U.S. Open 2003 The U.S. Open was played, for the second year running, in
the venerable Symphony Hall. Peter Nicol won it (again). The match
with David Palmer was especially exciting. There were a couple of
chaotic rallies in which a series of unbelievable saves were made by both
players.
